DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS
About Department
Welcome to the Department of Physics. .The department of physics at KLE’S Science & Commerce College was established in 2016. A degree course in Mathematics with Physics and a degree course in Chemistry with Physics are available with Physics as a subsidiary subject.
In order to educate the students to compete with the rest of the world and deal with real-life issues, the department is supported by experienced and energetic faculty. Since the laboratory programme is an essential component of the physics course, our well-equipped lab with a variety of equipment including He-Ne lasers, polarimeters, optical benches, spectrometers, sodium and hydrogen lamps, oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies etc. and knowledgeable teachers are the perfect setting for measuring and exploring science.
To encourage students to be curious about Physics, the department hosted national seminars, lectures, and workshops by inviting a variety of notable specialists in the area. In addition to their duties as teachers, faculty members are also actively involved in a range of initiatives that promote science, technology, research, and academic careers that are worthy. Academic books are kept in the labs by the Departmental Library. Both students and lecturers can utilise this facility to prepare their lectures both during practicals and outside of them.
