About Department
The Department of Information Technology came into existence on the elevation of KLE’S Science & Commerce Collegein 2017.The department has grown their expertise and competence in curriculum over the years as IT systems & services are continuously evolving. The department has highly qualified, experienced and dynamic faculty members.
The department is dedicated to impart high quality education in Information Technology including lectures, laboratory work & practice. The department organizesCollege/State/National/International level Seminars, Webinars, workshops, Conferencesby inviting various eminent experts in the field of computer science & Information Technology to explore the knowledge of IT students. Along with the academics, department conducts Co-curricular, Extra-Curricular & Extension activities and research oriented activities for students. Every year department organizes intercollegiate events for students. Department conducts Certificate & Diploma Courses every semester to enhance students skill knowledge.
The Department has good achievement in academics as well as placements.The Department has mini-library, which contains all academic textbooks. Department has two well-equippedlaboratories with good configuration of systems and electronic kits.
Higher education needs to address problems in active teaching and learning skills in the changing world. By moving towards further education,we have startedPost Graduation course in Information Technology M.Sc. (IT) in year 2022.
