BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.Sc) DEGREE COURSE
ELIGIBILITY RULES FOR THREE YEARS b.sC. DEGREE COURSE
As per University of Mumbai Circular No. UG/394 of 2004 dated 06.09.2004, a candidate for being eligible for admission to the First Year of the three year integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Xth Standard) Examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:
- H.S.C. (10+2) or its equivalent Examination with English with any three science subjects such as physics. Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, Geology etc. OR
- Three Years Diploma in Phannacy course of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent. OR
- Three Years Diploma Course after S.S.C. i.e. 10th Standard, or Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent. OR
- Intermediate Science Examination with Compulsory English, Physics, Chemistry, Biotech/Mathematics or any other three subjects from the Board of Secondary Education M.P., Bhopal as a regular candidate. OR
- MCVC (Minimum competency vocational course)
ELIGIBILITY : SYBSC SEM-III
A learner shall be allowed to keep term for Semester III if-He / she passes (Grade *E* or above in each course) each of Semester I and Semester II. QR
He / she fails in not more than three courses, in each of Semester I and Semester II (For all subjects, Carrying 900 or more marks). OR
He / she fails in not more than three courses with not more than total 200 marks, in each of Semester I and Semester II (For all subjects carrying less than 900 marks).
ELIGIBILITY : SYBSC SEM – IV
A learner shall be allowed to keep term for Semester IV irrespective of grades obtained in each course of Sem III.
ELIGIBILITY : TYBSC SEM – V
A learner shall be allowed to keep term for T.Y.B.Sc Chemistry / Mathematics Semester V if.
- He / she has passes Semester I and Semester II and fails in not more than three courses in each of Semester III and Semester IV (For all subjects carrying 900 or more marks). OR He / She has passed Semester I and Semester II and fails in not more than three courses with not more than total 200 marks in each of Semester III and Semester IV (For all subjects carrying less than 900 marks) OR He / she has passed Semester III and Semester IV and fails in not more than three courses in each of Semester I and
Semester II (For All subjects. Carrying 900 or more marks) OR He / She has passes Semester III and Semester IV and fails in not more than three courses with not more than total 200 marks, in each of semester I and Semester II (For all subjects carrying less than 900 marks). - He / she has Chemistry / Mathematics as an optional subjects at Semester I, Semester II, Semester III and Semester IV Examinations.
ELIGIBILITY : TYBSC SEM – VI
- A learner shall be allowed to keep term for T.Y.B.Sc. Chemistry / Mathematics Semester VI Irrespective of grades obtained in each course of Semester V.
- The result of Semester VI shall be kept in abeyance until the learner passes each other of Semester I, Semester Semester III, Semester IV & Semester V.
