About Department
The Department of Information Technology came into existence on the elevation of KLE’S Science & Commerce Collegein 2017.
In an effort to continue our education, we enrolled in a post-graduation information technology M.Sc. Information technology program in 2022.
M.Sc I.T is a two years degree program divided into four semesters where in each year there are two semesters. The program objective fulfils the Industrial needs with respect to technological advancements.
The program offers various subjects which are currently trending in Industry, academics and research.
The syllabus aims to provide technology-oriented students with the knowledge and ability to develop creative solutions, and better understand the effects of future developments of computer systems and technology on people and society.
K.L.E. Society’s Science & Commerce College especially offers M.Sc. (IT) program to impact professional knowledge and practical skills to the students.
The department has highly qualified, experienced and dynamic faculty members.The department organizesCollege/State/National/International level Seminars, Webinars, workshops, Conferencesby inviting various eminent experts in the field of computer science & Information Technology to explore the knowledge of IT students.
The syllabus of program has been modified from 2023 onwards as per new education policy (NEP 2020).
