About Department
Since its inception from 2017, the Department of BAMMC (Bachelor of Arts Multimedia and Mass Communication, earlier known as BMM) at KLE College has always been in the practice of exploring and enhancing the knowledge of the students by conducting several activities pertaining tothe field of Mass media. The department enables an in-depth understanding of the dynamic field of mass media in its various forms – print, radio, television, advertising, PR, new media and films among students. In the Third Year of BAMMC course , students are availed to specialized either in Advertising or Journalism.
The teaching methods of the department incorporates lectures, sessions with industry experts, and workshops, and lays special emphasis on field-based projects. Students are encouraged to work on independent projects and give presentations in class. The guest lectures with industry experts facilitate open and meaningful interaction between students and professionals from the industry.The department also organizes its Annual fest “MediaScrum” at an inter-collegiate level in order to inculcate communication skills, creativity and event management skills among BAMMC students.
